Raindrops

"All I hear is raindrops...."

So I was playing around today and filmed a song. Singing is my therapy. The above was nothing fancy, just a little somethin'. It's raining here in Cali and as much as I love it, I must admit....I've got a lot on my mind. Even the strongest ppl have their weak moments. After every storm is a rainbow. I walked outside to see one today, it was so beautiful

This was a reminder. Stay positive, blessings are on their way.

P.S- I'm officially missing you.

All I wanna do today is wear my comfy PJ's and stay home.
Work a little less, relax a little more
That's what this day is for.
Work on my lay back, ain't nothin' wrong
With gettin' my Sundays on.
*lyrics revised ;)

A friend let me borrow these comics.
Can't wait for tonight's episode!

Mommy &Me

Today I decided to take Audrey to do all of her favorite things. We have a routine. Our favorite places are the movies, toy hunting for blind boxes, the park and bowling. Today we decided to go see SpongeBob (I hated every moment of it!) because she's been hearing so much about it from her favorite YouTube channels. I decided to suck it up and just go see it. Thankfully we had gift cards so I didn't have to waste money. I literally wanted to fall asleep, luckily Audrey was over it and we left before the movie ended. I'm sorry, I just don't understand the humor. Some things are funny, but the rest is just weird. I cant get into it.
Anyway, afterwards we hit up Hot Topic because they have lots of new blind boxes Audrey can't find any where else.

We also decided to tag along and hit up the Bowling Alley. My parents are on a league. I remember when I was little, growing up in Florida, my parents were avid bowlers and i spent most my time at the bowling alley. This was when they had daycare centers there and that's where I spent my time. Wasn't much fun back then if u ask me. Things are so much different now. Audrey loves to bowl. I bought her a little bowling player (plastic ball and pins) and she's been obsessed with that lately. She's actually really good! She's been perfecting her aim and I'm quite impressed. She's so funny too, she poses and says, "I'm gonna strike this out!" Lol. I'm like okay girlfriend, you handle that!

Bay♡

My new favorite movie is Big Hero 6. I fell in love with Bay max almost instantly. He's so adorable, his actions, the cute little things he says I love him! I was always on a hunt to find a plushy at the store but they only had him in his Super Hero, red armour custume. It just wasn't the same. His white, fluffy suite is no comparison.
Well....I finally found him!! I was at Toys R Us and saw, randomly, a huge stuffed Baymax! I had to get him! I went to check the Isle and couldn't find any more for comparison, however I did find another one and it talked! I love his little quotes in the movie and had to pass up the big stuffed Baymax for a smaller sized one that talked :) Pictured above is the one I got. I'm in loooove.
You press the little circle above my top finger to hear some of his quotes from the movie.

I take him everywhere. I was thinking of keeping him at my office....

...but he kind of keeps me company passenger seat in my car ;) lol I know I'm such a kid at heart. Audrey totally gets me :)

Taking "pullover" to the next level

I mentioned in a previous post that Audrey has been working on jumping onto the bar and swing straight into a pullover. If that makes sense. I'm not the best with Gymnastics terminology, I admit. You can see what I mean with the video above. She almost has it, but needs to swing more than once. Instead of swing into a pullover she stops, pulls herself up and over into a pullover. It's  still very impressive to see her muscle control! Her pull ups are very advanced, it blows my mind that someone of her age can control them like that. She's  a strong little girl! Mind you, she's been out of gymnastics for a couple classes now because she's been sick so she's not feeling 100% but still going strong. She still loves to practice her skills outside of class and I'm so proud of her for that.  I can't wait to see her master this swinging pullover.

DIY bathroom edition

There are a couple different DIY projects I completed for my bathroom and i absolutely love them! The decor is black and white with gold accents. I wanted to spice up some containers  that hold my makeup brushes and nail polish so I sprayed candle holders gold, added glass containers on top with a glue gun and voila! I'm also obsessed with turning Bath and Body candle holders into fancy containers which you'll  see I used for my cotton balls. I sprayed the lid gold and added a fancy diamond knob from  Home depot on top with a glue gun.

(I have 2 sinks in my bathroom)For the below picture,  you can see I used a small round fish bowl, turned it on its side and glued it to a a candle holder I sprayed gold. I used a gold sharpie to line the bowl's rim for accent. It was the perfect fit for small hand sanitizers that Audrey loves to collect. As well as small travel size mouth wash ;)

The picture below shows the starburst Mirror I made out of paint sticks and a small round mirror. You can find that tutorial in a previous post. I wanted to add some details to my bathroom wall so I used black thin strip tape to line the walls. Who would have thought, right? The newest addition to my bathroom, which I'm debating if I want to move to another room, is my precious gold painted deer head. I'm obsessed with it!! She's  my baby!  She fits in perfectly. ...for now ;)

Valentines Weekend

Valentines, for my Valentine ;) My little Audrey Leigh was quite the spoiled one this weekend. I wanted to make sure this day was really special for her. It may look like I did more than I should have, but it was well deserved! Her teachers tell me that she is the most well-behaved kid in class. She waits patiently, is well-mannered, and pays attention. She already received a shining star in her Advanced Kinder Star class. Mommy is super proud of her! In her Hello Kitty mailbox was all of her favorite blind bags of course ;) Her Hello Kitty bag had some Frozen bubbles, Flutter Shy My Little Pony plush and other little goodies.

Thursday in class she had a Valentines day party. She is already at that age where they give each other Valentines. I thought it was so cute. I don't think i'm ready for when she starts receiving personalized Valentines from boys. She even colored a picture for me, of course I was her Valentine!

We baked a confetti cake with her LaLaLoopsy Baking Oven. I absolutely love this thing! In my opinion its so much better than an easy bake oven. The little packages are easy to understand and take little effort. I highly recommend!

We went to the Orange County Swap Meet to look around for goodies. Audrey was like, "Mommy can we go on a toy hunt there??" I was like I'm pretty sure there wont be many toys she would be interested in. Well look what we found!.....

Mystery Minis!! We settled for the Frozen Mystery Minis. We were super excited to find Wall-E and Eve :) They're my favorite duo.

I was able to escape for a few hours and relax with the girls and get my hair done. I've been wanting to go lighter and chop it off! I now have an A-Line style cut. I wanted it long in the front. I may chop off more in the back, but baby steps ;)

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Kinder Stars Advanced

The above video is of Audrey's newest accomplishment: a pullover on her own! (On her bar that her Grandpa made her) She's been doing this for a month now and I'm slowly teaching her how to jump onto the bar and while swinging, swing into a pullover. She is a very quick learner, I only had to show her twice how to do the pullover and she had it! I'm actually really impressed with her advanced learning. So it comes as no surprise that I got a call from her gymnastics class and they informed me that they wanted to bump her up in the advanced class! I was sooooo excited, I think I called everyone that day and bragged about the news. She is such a strong little girl, I know she will excel on the bars and with handstands. I need to work with her on floor and flexibility. I plan on getting her floor mats and all the extras so we can work on her floor routines at home. I had a serious talk with her about the commitment this would be (Especially because it is so expensive). I wanted to make sure she genuinely liked it, and she does. I will support her all the way!

These pictures were taken before she bumped up into her new class. She will be out on the big floor now with the older Gymnasts :)

Blind bag palooza: Toy Hunting

So Audrey is still obsessed with blind bags/boxes. She loves to watch her favorite toy collectors on YouTube go on "Toy Hunts" for blind bags. Her interest intrigues me so much and as a hobby I figured, why not? I took her to Target to do our very own "Toy Hunt" and we had a lot of fun! I was able to record her for a little bit. She cracks me up! Below are the items we found.

Hello Kitty, Lego Mystery Minis, My Little Pony Fashems , Spongebob, Minecraft
