VEGAS!

Sam and I went to Vegas April 10th for a baby shower and we had such a blast!! Vegas fun and family lovin' is always a good time. This trip was a spiritual awakening for us, especially me. I was able to experience things for the first time and step outside my comfort zone. We stayed at the Rio, a new stay to cross off my Vegas hotel bucket list. I was the most excited about the Zip-line atop the Rio! Aaaaaaaah. I kept talking myself out of it every time.

Sam and I at the baby shower. Doesn't he look so suave?

So Sam and I had the wildest idea to go get matching tattoos :) This wasn't something we did on a whim. We had been thinking about this for a while now. What better time than now, right?! We wanted to get something that had meaning. Something small, yet powerful....
This is Sam in the "hot" seat!

The outcome :)  A king and Queen Crown with our initials underneath on our ring fingers. I absolutely love them. Don't let that little thing fool you, it hurt like hell!!! I don't regret it one bit.

Right after we faced our butterflies with the tats we decided to go on the zip-line atop the Rio Casino! After I faced my worst fear and just DID IT, it felt really good. The view was so beautiful. It wasn't that bad and I would absolutely do i again. I cant wait to go back and try many more things.

Experiencing great adventure, with great people <3 p="">

Happy Easter

This Easter was a very special one for us filled with old traditions, as well as new ones. We started off by taking pictures at Bass Pro Shop with the Easter Bunny, compared to our usual pictures at the mall.
Audrey waiting in line for the Easter Egg Hunt they had in the store. I really didn't care for it, the eggs were just thrown around inside the store and the other colors you had to get were hard to find. The Store is HUGE, mind you. Our feet were already hurting from waiting in line for pictures with the bunny and then waiting again in line for the egg hunt. Walking around the store hunting for different colored plastic eggs was just way too exhausting. You trade in all of your eggs for 1 piece of candy. No thanks.

The night before we colored eggs, per usual...

...but then we added another twist on egg dying. Shaving cream and food color! The results were pretty awesome!

The morning of Easter Audrey ran outside to find her basket by the door....
...and footprints the Easter Bunny left behind!

"Where did he go?"

Her basket filled with non other than her favorite tings. Blind bag surprises!

We headed to the backyard to hunt for eggs

Sam was a big help :)

I decided to make pinata eggs filled with candy treats! They were super easy to make and instead of hitting them, you pull on the bottom to release the candy. Super easy for the little ones!

Audrey's cousin enjoyed them too :)

New blind bags!

We have been able to find new blind bags around town lately. Believe it or not we found these two new bags from our local Swap Meet! Audrey cannot find these anywhere! She was super excited! I think my favorite has to be the LaLaLoopsy bags. I cannot wait to see them hit out local Target/Toys R Us soon.
I thought this little blind bag of Soft Spots was super cute, as each dog comes with a special message.

Birthday party fun

Audrey and her friends from MyGym! The first time I went to a Birthday party with her for a friend she has met through her social activities. I know many more are to come and I'm excited to see her little friendships. The three amigos at Chuck E Cheese's.

Hey Y0 Mikey!

Meet our newest member to the family: Little Mikey! He is a Red-Eared Slider. His mark on the side of his ear looks more Orange than red so we named him Mikey! Audrey loves him, but doesn't have enough courage to hold him yet. His claws are pretty long and do tickle more than anything. He loves to play hide and seek :) He will let you pick him up and hold him, but he will try to run away from you so you have to be very careful when handling him. As of lately he has been a little feisty, but overall he wouldn't hurt a fly.
