Tonight I thought it would be a great idea to have some fun with Apples. I am going to bring them into work tomorrow morning for all of the girls. This is a very simple and creative snack to make. it is an apple bowl filled with fruit and a little flower attached
The ingredients you will need are apples, toothpicks and 3 different pieces of fruit to fill the inside.
- Cut the top of the apple off, as if you were cutting off a lid. You will be using this for the flower decor
- Hollow out the inside of the bottom portion of the apple. You will fill it up with sliced fruit
- Cut 5 small triangles, spaced out, on the top lid of the apple. In between those cuts you will hollow out an oval shape. This is how u get the flower effect. (I wish I could explain it better...)
- Stick a toothpick through the flower and stick it into the apple.
Taaaa-daaaa! It's honestly not as hard as it seems. I just hope they don't turn brown by tomorrow
