Very Special Day

I started preparing for todays fun-filled events last night, decorating a desk at work for a birthday and making fun treats. I have a creative imagination and like to decorate for parties and birthdays with things that I can DIY myself or with things that are very inexpensive. Even though it takes a lot of time, and means staying late after work, for me the joy is seeing the expressions of surprise and love from those celebrating.



The frankenstein treats were extremely easy to make. I used the following:

1. Ice cream cone
2. Green food dye
3. M&M's
4. Chex mix
5. Black decorating gel
6. White frosting as glue

Today was also Audreys school picture day (: I wanted to drop her off and help her with her pictures so I went into work late just to accompany her with her special morning. The pics below are just so priceless to me. Seeing her big smile as she's hugging me makes me feel so honored. What can I say, she loves her mommy! It was hard to let her go.
