At 2 wks old, Audrey is already mimicking. I smother her with kisses every chance I get because she's just too adorable. When i pucker my lips and make a noise and kiss her she's starting to copy me now and puckers up her lips to receive my kiss. She stares at you intensely as if shes really into your conversation. Her facial expressions are priceless! My favorite is her "stretch face"
I just want to smother her with kisses every time I see that face! My nights are getting a little easier with her as shes now starting to sleep for 3 hours at a time before I have to feed her. I find she sleeps the best in bed with me [co-sleeping] and as much as i've heard how bad that could be, a real mother knows the presence and movements of her baby. Im a very light sleeper and there is no way she could smother herself, move, or even blink her eye without me knowing. Its that motherly instinct. She doesnt sleep with me all the time but occasionally because i love that bond we are able to share and she feels safer that way. Its only been 2 weeks but I know time flies, so im trying to cherish every little moment with her before shes all grown up. At the rate shes going, she'll be talking in no time.
