Since the last time I wrote on here, a lot has changed. The day has come....dun dun dun. Audrey weened herself off the breast. Those of you who breastfeed know that it takes a minute for you milk to "let down" and since Audrey was used to getting milk right away [she was fed breastmilk from a bottle while I was at work], she started to get really fussy waiting for my "let down" and would throw a crying fit. She wouldnt want to feed. I even tried pumping until my milk let down and then put her on but she would still cry hysterically! It really hurt knowing that no matter what I did she didnt want it. That was our bonding time, I loved breastfeeding her. However, I wasnt going to upset her by forcing her to breastfeed. I breastfed her for the most important months of her growth, 3 months and thats all that matters. When I decided to put her on formula I made sure to get the best:
Good Start baby formula was the only formula I found on the market that was made with nutrients found in breastmilk. If she wasnt getting breastmilk at least she was getting the next closest thing. At least now Mommy can take a trip out of the house without worrying about being back in 2 hours for feeding, lol.
