Summer time in December

So today was a very beautiful day hitting the upper 80's, so i decided to take Audrey out for a stroll. I enjoyed our little walk and alone time at the park. Along the way I reflected back on my childhood, as I grew up playing outdoors as much as I could. The sights, the smells, the sounds. Its so refreshing to be outdoors and it just reminded me that I need to do so more often. Its the little things in life we forget to appreciate. Have you ever just breathed in deep and enjoyed the different smells? The flowers, fresh cut grass...walking by each persons house I smelled something different whether it be laundry detergent from their load, fertilizer on their grass or chlorine from their pool. Each smell can tell a story and memory. I also stopped to enjoy the sights...the leaves changing colors on the trees, the sun shining bright through the branches, the houses nicely decorated for Christmas. Today was a very spiritual awakening to say the least....

Me and Audrey arriving at our destination

of course she fell asleep along the way

we found a soft spot in the grass to play

taking in her surroundings...

She loved the sound of the waterfall

The sun shining bright on us

My little Angel!

looking at the pretty flowers

playing with her feet

there goes that smile!

she was so fascinated by the waterfall...tempting huh?

no, we cant go in

ready to go bye bye

enjoying the beautiful sights along the way...

beautiful statement

appreciating the smallest things
Home sweet home, just look at that view!

All in all, we had a great day ;]
