My Baby Shower

A couple good friends of mine planned a baby shower for me out of the goodness of their heart. Traditionally, a baby shower is not suppose to be planned by the mother to be, but family or friends take on the whole responsibility of the setup and expenses. I was very blessed to have had amazing friends take on this baby shower for me and i was amazed at how well it turned out. The location was perfect, a lot of people came and went [we had to work around peoples work schedule they couldnt stay the whole time] and the food and gifts people brought deeply touched my heart. I have such amazing friends and one thing i learned is to always be nice and open to new friendships. You dont have to tell them your darkest secrets, they dont have to be your best friends....but knowing you have friends from all over who go out of their way for you is priceless. Heres to a beautiful day.....my first baby shower:

My baby shower was at a beautiful park in Riverside. The park goes up a hill [which the gazebo was at the top] and it was a lil windy but we managed, lol. My friend Debbie had to be there at 7am just to reserve the gazebo so nobody else would take it. She was lucky cuz 30 minutes after she got there, there was another woman asking her about the spot she wanted to use it for a birthday party. Thanks Debbie for being a trooper and getting there 4 hours before the baby shower. [The baby shower was 12-6]

They had me wear a crown and mother- to- be sash.

The tables were decorated with centerpieces and lil goodie bags of candy.

A duck cake that was made for me by Alyssa. I didnt want to touch it or eat it because it looked so good
