Audrey's nursery; in-depth

Audrey's nursery is pretty much complete. When I first got pregnant I knew I was gonna give her a beautiful nursery with everything she could ever need. By choice, i worked up until my 8th month to provide all of this for her. I've put my heart, sweat and tears into this nursery and am proud to say that everything in her room....the design as well.....was all purchased and thought out by me! I told my parents to not worry about a thing, this was my little project. They did the painting, of course, for me and I might add it turned out beautifully. All items were very affordable......

• The crib was given to me from a family friend
• Both blankets were gifts from friends
• Mobile and clothes hamper- Babies R 'Us
• Letters for her name and ribbon- JoAnn 's fabric store
• Bassinet- Walmart
• Wall shelf, picture frame, potted flower and tree, basket shelved drawers, brown mini rug- ROSS

• Chandelier- F21
• Wheel basket, vase with wood vines, wall shelf, potted flower-ROSS
• wooden picture frame- Dollar store
• Boppy pillow and matching blanket- gift from a friend
• Baby swinger- Babies R' Us

• Diaper Champ- [its in the closet, needs to be sanitized] given to me by a family friend

Everything was very affordable and as you can tell you dont need expensive things or even an interior decorator to make your nursery your dream nursery. Come up with a theme, some color schemes and shop around for great bargains. The only thing im missing is a rocking chair, but I still have one more baby shower which is this saturday and Audrey's grandparents have been eying the perfect chair as their gift. Im also waiting for this weekend to get her 5-piece crib bedding as well. The one on her crib now is just a backup, plus its good to have more than one bedding set to change out from time to time. I love her nursery! As a single, hard working, young mom I think I did an excellent job(=
